Brian is a Navy Veteran with a master's degree in Human Resources. He works directly with students to prepare them to enter the workforce, and partners with organizations nationwide to help them hire ACI Learning alumni. Brian has a background in talent acquisition, operations management, and industrial engineering. Outside of work, Brian enjoys custom woodworking, competitive BBQ, and spending time with his family.
Kandi Brown leads our highly experienced Career Services Denver and National teams as they provide coaching and guidance to students through their certification completion into career placement. Her team also builds relationships with employers to assist students with securing immediate, quality externships and in-field placement. A passionate college and career readiness professional, Kandi has worked her entire adult life in the K-12 and higher education sectors. Born and raised in Denver Colorado, Kandi is a former athlete, she ran track in high school and college. She earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communication from Colorado State University and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University-Global Campus. Kandi has three children, her son who is a toddler, her middle daughter who is a pre-teen, and her 20-year-old daughter who is away at college pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Arizona. Her partner is the morning show host of a local radio station here in Denver. There is never a dull moment around their house!
Vail works with students on their employability and job readiness, along with companies and their hiring managers, to ensure students reach their employment goals. Vail worked as a middle school Spanish teacher for four years before making the switch to working with ACI Learning. She is originally from Boulder and lives in Denver with her dog, Noodles. Outside of work she likes to bake, hike, and spend time with her friends.
Troy is a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant. Troy has done IT consulting for various businesses in the Denver Metro area and Northern Colorado for the past 10 years. He spent 5 years traveling around the country to several Army deployment centers setting up completely self-contained classified networks with up to 350 client stations, switches, routers, cabling, network printers, and servers. His specialties include networking, system administration, and SharePoint administration, development and deployment. He has been digging into the IT world, since getting a Commodore 64, when they first came out.
Qwincy Houston is an expert at building high performing teams. He is a leader and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in education technology, sales, and higher education. He couples his passion for technology with his business acumen to develop cutting-edge processes and resources for his teams. Qwincy has a passion for helping under-served populations achieve economic freedom through technology. As part of this personal mission, he serves on multiple advisory committees for nonprofits. Outside of his work and community involvement, Qwincy is an ordained minister, proud husband, and father of three beautiful children.
