WEBVTT Hi, my name is Wes Bryant, Edutator at ACI Learning, and I'm going to be the host for the series you're about to watch, joined by Robin Abernathy, our subject matter expert. We'd like to take the time to just tell you a little bit about what you can expect in the AZ 800 administering Windows Server and Hybrid Core Infrastructure Series. Candidates for this exam are Windows Server administrators, and should have several years experience with Windows Server and Azure, including hybrid solutions that allow on-premises servers talk to Azure. Some of the concepts that the viewer is going to explore will be things like Active Directory components such as objects like users, groups, and OUs. We're going to look at identities as well as structural components. We'll look at things like, well, read-only domain controllers, replication, and replication management. We'll take a look at group policy as well, and include introducing hybrid technologies that consist of on-prem and Cloud-based deployments as well as connections and synchronizing Azure AD, Azure AD Active Directory domain services, Azure Domain Controllers, and Hybrid Identities. Then we're going to move on into network infrastructure, and we'll look at things like DNS configuration and Active Directory integration. We'll look at DHCP implementations as well as VPN solutions and configurations. We're going to take a look at network policy server and IP administration through IPAM. We'll also look at hybrid network infrastructure, including things like Azure's network adapters, extended networks, and web application proxies. Finally, we're going to look at hybrid storage and file server solutions, including things like Azure File Sling, Cloud Tiering, SMB Direct, Storage QoS, and traditional technologies like DFS and Branch Cache. We'll also look at storage spaces and plenty more. On behalf of myself and everybody here at ACI Learning, we hope that you enjoy this course, and we look forward to seeing you in the first days.
