You're watching ITProTV. [MUSIC] [BLANK_AUDIO] Hello everybody, my name is Adam Gordon entertainer here at ITProTV. And I'm going to be your guide, for the Managing Microsoft Teams MS 700 exam preparation course. Now this course is gonna be a little unusual, compared to all the other courses you used to seeing here at ITProTV. Occasionally, you see me do a hands-on course or show. Where it's just me presenting the information to you, talking to you a little bit about how things go. And I spending quite a bit of time, to get rolling up my sleeves and showing you ,how to do those things, and believe it or not, we've taken that approach with this particular course. We're actually building it on top of the original MS hands on, with teams course that I put together, because it aligns so closely with the MS 700 exam, we used all of those episodes. We've just taken the approach of adding in, the incremental exam updates that Microsoft publishes once, or twice a year. We've tagged them with the November or May, or whatever designator month and year date. Microsoft gives those updates, and you'll see them listed in the course accordingly by subject area, and you can then track through them. And all the main body of the course elements are all gonna be laid out, exactly according to the Microsoft exam blueprint or outline. Speaking of which, let's take a look at what that looks like. Just so you have an idea, of what to expect under the planning and configuring Microsoft Teams environment area, almost 50% of the overall exam content will come from here. We're gonna take a look at how to upgrade, from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams. We'll be touching on a variety of different elements, in every one of these areas. We'll take a look at planning, and configuring network settings for Microsoft teams, implementing governance and life cycle management across Microsoft Teams. We'll take a look at configuring and managing guest access, lot of interesting stuff going on here, including the ability to set specific settings you need to guess, controlling their interaction. Their ability to work with members of the Microsoft Teams tenant. Managing security compliance, because no good conversation about how to set up any product, or how to certify on any vendors exams would be complete, without a look at security compliance. We'll be focusing in on all the different aspects, they're deploying and managing Microsoft Teams endpoints, different kinds of devices, how they're set up, how they're managed. Configuration profiles, and of course the ability to be able to use device tags. One of the really interesting, although often overlooked features associated with device management. We'll be moving through, and talking about how to monitor, and analyze service usage as we round out our conversation, in this particular first of many topic block areas. Well, then turn our attention to managing chat calling, and meetings roughly as you could see about a third of the overall exam. When you combine these two first topic areas together, we get to somewhere between 70, and as much as 85% of the exam coming together here. So the bulk of it is here, and you may think given those percentages, well if I just focus on these two areas, I get all the questions right across these areas, I can pass the exam. While that may be possible, the reality is it's highly unlikely you're gonna wanna pay attention, to all the different areas of the course. Make sure you go through, follow along with me whether you choose to practice, and create your own environment or not, take note of all the things we talk about. Things like managing chat and collaboration experiences, managing meeting experiences, managing phone numbers. We're gonna spend a lot of time in this section, integrating the voice capabilities, and see how they come together. That currently exists partially in teams, partially outside through Skype for Business Online. But as we see the merging of those two products, and eventually the sunsetting of Skype for Business. We wanna make sure, we understand the full value of The voice over IP and voice capabilities, that Skype is providing as reported into teams. We're to cover those end to end for you, managing phone numbers, managing phone systems. As well as going in, and take a look at all the elements associated with how to configure those particular aspects, you need to voice and make sure you understand them. We'll take a look at managing teams, and teams app policies really to round out our conversation. Really put a capstone on our course, managing a team all up, managing membership in a team. And implementing policies from Microsoft Teams apps, will not only complete our discussions around the topics, and the outline based on the exam objectives Microsoft provides. But I'm gonna be making sure, as we walk through all these areas, we roll our sleeves up, make sure we spend a lot of time showing you how to integrate, and use all the tools. And implement all the various features, and capabilities the team's offers you. You're gonna see me demonstrating that, in our demo tenant, we're gonna be using a full enterprise E5 license for Microsoft 365 along with teams. And the team's capabilities that come with that, including all the voice services, you're gonna get to see, how everything is done. As well as hear me explain the concepts, put them all together for you, as you look to prepare for the Microsoft managing teams, MS 700 exam. I look forward to spending time with you, as we walk through the content together. We're gonna go get ready, I certainly am, hopefully you are as well. I'm gonna see you in the first episode, as soon as you're ready to go. But until then, I'm gonna wish you happy teaming, and I'll see you soon. Thank you for watching ITProTV. [BLANK_AUDIO]
