[MUSIC] [BLANK_AUDIO] Hello everybody and welcome to the MS-900 Microsoft Fundamentals course, I'm Adam Gordon, your success guide for everything you're gonna need to know to take and pass the MS-900 exam. As we think about MS-900 Microsoft 365 overall the target for this course is for you to understand the basics, the fundamentals associated with how we use software as a service, all right? The sad solutions that Microsoft provides through Microsoft 365, Office 365 and in some cases by extension in Azure are gonna be the focus of what we do. We're gonna take a look at all of those service offerings defining from the beginning, the basics of what Cloud computing and service offerings as a service are. We'll talk about infrastructure, platform, and software as a service. We'll take a look at Cloud delivery model as well as Cloud service models, the Cloud services we engage with. And then we'll start to narrow our focus and drive really deeply into the Microsoft 365 platform. Examine all the features and capabilities that enable collaboration, enable us to be able to manage, identify and create secure environments, associating ourselves with best practices and threat mitigation, risk management and identity and access control. And as well, we'll take a look at licensing, we'll take a look at how we bundle those services, those capabilities and of course how we bring them all together to offer you the best capabilities. But also offer you the opportunity to be successful on the MS-900 exam. Take a look on screen right here, you'll see the MS-900, Microsoft 365 fundamentals exam, landing page. From Microsoft the exam and the profile of it is overviewed right here as we've been talking about, you'll be able to go in and schedule your exam if you're interested in doing so right here. And I would suggest you and encourage you as we do that to see that you can take this exam in multiple languages that is provided and made available online. You can schedule with Pearson VUE and as you can see you can also schedule Certiport depending on who you are and where you take your exam. The exam itself cost $99 US at least right now. Anyway, of course you can localize that, and you can change that into whatever specific region of the world you are and as a result get the equivalent pricing for what you need right there. And the skills being measured by area by category along with waiting are gonna be right here. I've already mentioned them at a high level describing cloud concepts describing core Microsoft 365 services and concepts notice by weight that is the single largest area of the course. And the exam taking up just about half describing security compliance privacy and trust in Microsoft 365 and as I mentioned Microsoft 365 pricing and support focusing on the support not so much the pricing. All of that together equals our spending time together talking about everything you need to understand and everything you want to know about Microsoft 365. Both for the real world for you to practice as well as to implement solutions but also to take and pass the MS-900 exam. I'm looking forward to spending time with you doing all that.
